1. El Golfo Lanzarote

Home to one of Lanzarote´s best known natural wonders, El Golfo is known locally as El Lago Verde or the Green Lagoon. The lagoon lies in the centre of a volcano which has been partially eroded by the Atlantic, and the green colour has been created from the algae. After visiting the lake, take a trip to the village of El Golfo where you can enjoy some of the best seafood on the island.
2. Los Hervidores Lanzarote

Situated just down the coast from El Golfo, Los Hervidores is also known locally as the boiling pot, from the way the water seems to hiss when the waves come crashing in.
3. Orzola Caleton Blanco Lanzarote

Drive from Jameos del Agua to Orzola, and you will see the incredible white beaches of Caleton Blanco. The white sand at Caleton Blanco is surrounded by black volcanic rock, and attracts visitors from all over the island of Lanzarote. The temperature of the water remains mild here all year round, which makes a nice change from the usual chilly Atlantic Sea.
4. Famara Lanzarote

Famara is the most beautiful beach on the island and is framed by cliffs more than 400m high. Although temperatures in Lanzarote are mild all year round, between November and February, the area of Famara is better suited to walking and hiking than sunbathing.
5. Inland Lanzarote

If you are planning to drive around Lanzarote, hire a car from the airport or take advantage of cheap car rentals deals and make the most of your holiday. From rugged landscapes, beaches, volcanoes and a host of fabulous restaurants, it is really worth taking your time to discover the best parts of Lanzarote, including the wine region of Masdache.
